The challenge is getting the insurance company to pay for it. Mounjaro is not approved for weight loss. Therefore a diagnosis of morbid obesity will rarely matter. I take the mounjaro 5mg shot and I have been experiencing constipation. My primary care also says that I have Diverticulosis so I have changed my diet to more fruits and veggies. I have also been using a laxative here and there to combat the constipation. Just wait until you get to 5mg. on Mounjaro I've noticed my portions are smaller and I no longer snack like I used to - just not interested. Even on keto I snacked - always healthy ones of course - but on mounjaro I'm not hungry at all between meals. edited to add: keto is typically a higher fat diet, and I don't find fat bothers me at all.
